Menu-esque Thing

An observing log poem.

Clouds covered the sky like a thin gauze
We verified pointing, then had to pause
Our focus stars were not in view
But Miracle Joe again came through

In a cloudy sky with one clear patch
To that location, our 'scope dispatch
It's the exact location of our LMXB
So Joe we monitor for variability
