Brunate and Olma

In my treks about town, I took the Funicular to Brunate and had the BEST meal at a little restaurant at the top of the mountain.

The train to Brunate is on tracks somewhere between 30-45 degrees. Dave couldn't decide. So the people of Italy decided to build a train car that was stadium-type seating. Such a car could never ride on a flat track.

The man at the restaurant gave us potato chips while we waited for our food. Monty and I had not seen potato chips all week!

Olma is a Villa that's a bit of a walk around the lake.

Dave, Monty, and I were sitting on the pier, contemplating the walk to Olma. Dave used the distance between windows and the angular size of the house to estimate a conversion factor and calculate the distance to the house. His guess was about 1.5km ... or something that was correct to first order.

We found a large anchor at Olma... not sure why.

Dave tried to eat Monty.

Monty did his Grim Reaper act to ward off the trouble.
