Welcome to my nerdom!
In real life, I'm an astronomer specializing in the study of black holes, microquasars, and other exotic and mysterious galactic X-ray sources. I am fascinated by the idea that stars not only live and evolve, but die, explode, and warp space time. I grew up on Star Trek, but credit Firefly as the show that helped her become one with her nerdome. In addition to costuming, fanfic writing, and general acts of nerdiness, I also maintain interest in dance and performance arts. I view astronomy as an art for people who like math and physics.
